Message	I live about 5 hours from Z1 and my 90TT is there for a rebuild + 740 inj, doolz, stage2 turbos, Z1 smics, radiator, wiring harness, new lifters, downpipes, clutch and flywheel. I'm spending more than I originally paid for the car in getting this upgrade. Over 10 thousand dollars... If I *******EVER******* have a engine/turbo related issue as you've described, I stop driving it where I stand, call a tow and transport it back to Z1 for diagnosis. The big issue here is that Z1 built the motor but didn't install it. Thats why the short warranty and thats why I spend $300 transporting my knocking engine 90TT to them in the first place - 12 months warranty. I am confident in them as an engine builder and a provider of a warranty. I won't pretend to know what exactly went wrong with your engine, but if I were so far from Georgia, I'd find a closer shop, like SGP or Specialty Z.
